Babina
Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford announced that Christine Babina of Oxford was promoted from the position of Manager of Care Management to Director of Care Management.
She will be responsible for Gaylord Hospital’s Care Management department, a team of clinicians who assist in coordinating patients’ care, managing resources, interfacing with payers, and effectuating a safe and appropriate discharge plan.
Babina, who will soon complete the Master of Science in nursing program from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, is currently the President-Elect of the Connecticut chapter of the American Case Management Association.
“I am looking forward to continuing to improve the patient-family experience with the discharge planning process and to share all the good work that Gaylord does with our community and its providers,” she said
