The Seymour Town Clerk’s Office is reminding residents of Seymour, Connecticut, to submit the names of service members who are actively serving in the military to receive a Christmas check from the Richard R. Pearson Memorial fund.
State Sen. George Logan is asking for support of “Coats for a Cause” between Dec. 4 and Dec. 22 to support the people of Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
New and gently used coats can be dropped off at Assumption Church, 61 North Cliff St., Ansonia.

The Griffin Hospital Annual Holiday Concert will feature Valley Soul, a choir of volunteer singers under the direction of recording artist and music industry veteran Angela Clemmons.
