Audition For ‘A Christmas Carol’ In Shelton Oct. 6

Center Stage Theatre artistic director Gary Scarpa has announced that auditions for A Christmas Carol, the Musical” will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Scarpa said, We are seeking talented actors, singers and dancers to fill roles for adutls, teens, and children in 3rd grade and older.”

With soaring music by Disney composer Alan Menken, A Christmas Carol infuses the Charles Dickens holiday classic with music the whole family will cherish.

Described by the the New York Times as a tonic for adults and for children, a transfixing journey,” this musical favorite tells the timeless story of the transformation of Ebenezer Scrooge. 

At Center Stage, we like to give performers of all ages opportunities to appear in full-scale productions,” said Scarpa.

Center Stage Theatre is a non-profit organization, founded in 2005 by directors Gary and Francesca Scarpa. The theatre presents a full season of five productions, using age appropriate casting.
