Cops: Man Sold Crack Cocaine On Shelton Sidewalk

A 26-year-old Shelton man was arrested after detectives allegedly saw him selling crack cocaine on a Howe Avenue sidewalk.

Edward Taylor of Howe Avenue was charged with illegal possession of cocaine and attempted illegal sale of cocaine.

Cops said they observed Taylor selling crack to an unidentified man. The buyer wasn’t arrested. A few bags of crack cocaine and $180 in cash was allegedly found in Taylor’s possession.

The arrest happened at about 2 p.m. Friday (Sept. 2).

Cops said Taylor also had a warrant out for his arrest for a burglary.

Police also said they arrested Taylor’s 44-year-old neighbor, Aaron Siberon, who was wanted in connection to the same burglary. He is charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.

Taylor was held on $45,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court in Derby on Monday (Sept. 5).

Siberon posted $50,000 bond and has a court date of Sept. 12.
