No Injuries After Shelton House Fire

SHELTON — No injuries were reported after a house fire in Shelton Wednesday night.

The fire was reported at 9:23 p.m. Feb. 21 at a house on Cedar Hill Road, according to a Facebook post from the Shelton Fire Department.

The first units on scene saw smoke coming from the gable vents in the attic of the single-family house.

As crews made entry, no smoke was present in the living area. Once members accessed the attic, the fire was located and quickly extinguished,” according to the post.

The Shelton Fire Marshal is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.

The house was deemed inhabitable. The numbered address for the incident was not included in the public statement.
