The application deadline for the 2024 Roland R. Strong and Edith H. Strong Memorial Scholarship is THIS Friday, April 12, 2024 for eligible students to apply. All graduating high school seniors (Class of 2024) who are Oxford residents are eligible to apply for this 4‑year renewable scholarship (which historically has been at least $8,000 per year if not more!).
Please mail applications to the Valley Community Foundation (address is on the application form) and to be sure that it is postmarked no later than April 12, 2024 as late submissions will be disqualified. The application can also be hand-delivered to the VCF office before 5pm, M‑F of this week.
NOTE: Due to the issues with the new FAFSA, students may or may not have received their FAFSA SIA Summary Report yet. Please submit the application on time and indicate that the FAFSA SIA Summary Report will be sent under separate cover. This is to ensure that the application is not disqualified as being late or incomplete. The entire FAFSA SIA Summary Report (10 – 11 pages) must be submitted by April 23, 2024.
