
SHELTON — A Bridgeport Avenue bank was robbed Monday morning.
In a prepared statement, Detective Christopher Nugent said the robbery occurred about 10 a.m. in the Key Bank at 704 Bridgeport Ave.
“The suspect pictured in surveillance footage passed the teller a note demanding money from the teller and implying that he had a weapon,” Nugent said.
There were no injuries.
“Anyone that may have information regarding the bank robbery or suspect information can contact the Shelton Police Department at (203) 924 ‑1544,” Nugent said. ​“Calls will be kept confidential.”
