SHELTON — Shelton Fire Marshal sent in the following list detailing calls for service for the Shelton Fire Department:
On 2/19/24 at 10:21 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, White Hills Co. #5 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with two engines and a ladder truck to a structure fire at #17/19 Oak Avenue. Upon arrival firefighters extinguished a fire on the exterior side of the structure and an attached porch. The fire was extinguished in minutes and caused damage to the porch and siding of the home. The cause of the fire was a discarded object into a garbage bin that was against the house.
On 2/19/24 at 10:28 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #217 Long Hill Cross Road. There was no fire.
On 2/19/24 at 1:08 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to an electrical hazard inside #56 Rugby Road.
On 2/19/24 at 3:07 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #9 Brentley Drive. There was no fire.
On 2/19/24 at 7:10 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to #91 Willoughby Road for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.
On 2/20/24 at 1:18 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #47 Congress Avenue. There was no fire.
On 2/20/24 at 5:12 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a fire alarm activated at #44 Autumn Ridge Road. There was no fire.
On 2/20/24 at 5:14 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine to a possible car fire on Long Hill Avenue near South Constitution Boulevard.
On 2//20/23 at 11:03 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to #185 Canal Street for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.
On 2/21/24 at 7:50 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 south bound at exit 12.
On 2/21/24 at 2:30 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded with an engine to a small brush fire on River Road.
On 2/21/24 at 9:20 pm the Huntington Co. #3, White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with three engines, two rescue trucks and a ladder truck to a structure fire at #32 Cedar Hill Road.Upon arrival firefighters found a fire in the attic of the single-family home. The fire was extinguished and under control within 20 minutes. All occupants of the home evacuated safely. There were no injuries. The home sustained extensive fire damage to a bedroom and water and smoke damage to the home.

On 2/22/24 at 7:34 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 south bound at exit 12.
On 2/22/24 at 8:20 am the Echo Hose H &L Co. #1 responded with a unit to a small gasoline leak from a vehicle at #3 Plaskon Drive Extension.
On 2/22/24 at 11:15 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to #15 Heather Hill Road for a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.
