Mallory Doyle, an 8th grade student at Holy Trinity Catholic Academy, Shelton earned top honors for the Middle School Essay category of Constituting America’s “We the Future” contest.
As a national winner, Mallory joined other winners on a recent trip to Austin, Texas to meet with mentors in her field, dine with a constitutional scholar and was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
Founded by Actress Janine Turner and co-chaired by Janine and Cathy Gillespie, Constituting America is a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to utilize the culture and multi-media outreach such as music, film, television, internet, and social media to reach, educate and inform America’s adults and students about the non-partisan relevancy of the U.S. Constitution and the foundation it sets forth regarding our freedoms and rights.
