Annamae Bonitatibus

Annamae Bonitatibus, age 89, of Shelton entered into rest on Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to Geno Bonitatibus. Annamae was born in Bridgeport, on May 19, 1934, daughter of the late William and Louise (Montagne) Muccia and has been a resident of Shelton since 1972.
Annamae’s first love was her family. She was a customer service representative in the banking industry for many years until her retirement. Annamae enjoyed shopping, going to the theater in New York and spending time with her friends. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and especially loved her grandchildren great grandchildren . Annamae was a lover of dogs, especially her poodle Holly. She brightened up all those people lucky enough to be in her life and was loved by all who knew her.

Annamae was the beloved mother of Laurie Hartman and her husband William, Linda Burney and her late husband William and Michele Bonitatibus and her husband Daniel Pyatak. She was the loving grandmother of Kristen Bennett and her husband David and Lauren Dwelle and her husband Scott and great grandmother of Hudson Bennett and Mason Dwelle. She is also survived by a sister-in- law Norma Bonitatibus and several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother William Muccia

Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Saturday, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St Lawrence Church, Shelton. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
