Blaze R. Fleetwood, age 69, unexpectedly entered eternal rest on February 1, 2024, in his home in Ansonia.
Blaze was born in Norwalk, CT on July 2, 1954, son of the late Ronald and Frances Loungo Fleetwood. He was employed in shipping and receiving at Perkin Elmer in Norwalk for many years, until his retirement. Blaze was very artistic and enjoyed writing poems. He liked to read, especially motivational books, and was always ready to learn new things. His hobbies included working out, trips to the beach and going out to eat. Blaze loved watching sports and spending time with his family.
Blaze leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Jerra L. Banasiak (Stanley) of Port Lucie, FL, brother, Robert G. Fleetwood of Naugatuck, sister, Christine Nieves of West Haven, grandchildren, Crystal and Christian Banasiak, Matisen, Maddox and Mia Sutton, and Micah and Magdelene Banasiak. He was predeceased by his grandson, Kaleb Banasiak.
