Daniel “Bubba” Pivola, III

Daniel Bubba” Pivola, III, entered into eternal rest on March 9, 2024. He was born in Milford, March 16, 1983, son of Daniel Pivola, Jr. and the late Dawn Fillion Pivola. He was a rainbow with no end, a shining light that touched the darkness of the countless people he encountered.

Dan’s great accomplishment was being an extraordinary son, brother, uncle, and friend. He gave his loving light to many; numerous that did not deserve it.

From the very beginning of Dan’s life, he has been a memorable soul. He was always the one to make the effort to stay in contact and make people feel loved and respected. He made allies wherever he went. He will never be forgotten.

He had a love for music, cooking, baking, antiques, and all things magical (as he was). He would always blast his music and sing like no one was listening while putting his love into the crepes he would regularly make at his family home for the ones who enjoyed not only his phenomenal crepes but the process in which he had in making them.

He was stubborn, strong-willed, intelligent, a free spirit, and a force to be reckoned with.

Many might not know but Dan was an ordained non-denominational minister. He took pride in marrying his little brother David and sister-in-law April as well as numerous friends.

He believed in all things loving, positive, and earthy.

Besides his father, he is survived by his siblings Samantha Pivola and her son Duke Pivola, David Pivola and his wife April and their children Emma and Daniel G. Pivola, Sara Pivola-Jean and her husband Joseph and their children Joseph and Freya Jean, his aunts Darlisa Ritter, and Doreen Pysz, his cousins Rebecca Ritter, Mary Beth Pysz, and many other extended family. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his niece Leelah Daisy Jean, his aunt Dale Ann Pivola-Eldridge, and his uncle David S. Pivola.

All services and interment will be private. The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton has been entrusted with arrangements.
