Debbie J. Nichols, age 51, a lifelong resident of Ansonia, entered peaceful rest on July 12, 2023, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Debbie was born in Derby on October 10, 1971, daughter of the late Richard and Lola Cowin Nichols. Family meant everything to Debbie. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and raising her nephew, Logan. Debbie enjoyed shopping at thrift shops and garage sales, going to the beach, tending to her yard, and having her nails done. She liked to entertain and have pool parties at her home for family and friends. Debbie was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and her favorite time of day and holiday was “4/20.”
Debbie leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Shaun M. Gonzales of Ansonia, a sister, Penny Marganski of Ansonia, two grandchildren, Nyzain and Kaliah Gonzales, nieces and nephews, Jacob, Jayden and Emily Marganski and Logan Nichols. She was predeceased by her sister, Billie-Jo Nichols.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
