George Zolovchik Jr., age 78, entered eternal rest April 3, 2024, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the loving husband of Carol Ondira Zolovchik.
George was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 27, 1945, son of the late George Zolovchik Sr. and Alice Brandley Zolovchik. A resident of Ansonia since 1979, George was employed as an appliance repairman for General Electric from 1968 until his retirement in 1999. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. George was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed camping. He was a fan of the NY Giants and the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to his wife Carol, George leaves to cherish his memory, his son, John S. Zolovchik of Ansonia and brother-in-law, Robert Ondira of Bridgeport. He was predeceased by his son George Zolovchik III.
