Helen Kosko

Helen Kosko, age 79, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 19, 2022, in CT Hospice with her as loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of 55 years to William J. Kosko. She was born in Bridgeport on March 10, 1943, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Liscinsky Fedock and was a resident of Stratford, working at Avco where she met her husband. They were married in 1966 and settled in Ansonia. Helen was well known as she worked at several locations in the Valley, including the Evening Sentinel, Webster Bank and Gardner Heights Nursing Home. Most recently she was a receptionist for OEM controls in Shelton for many years until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the St. Joseph Church Women’s Guild and enjoyed reading, crocheting and loved going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also loved to spend time at the sea wall in the Lordship Section of Stratford.

She is the beloved mother of Wiliam M. Kosko and his wife Elizabeth, David J. Kosko and his wife Melissa, loving grandmother of Adam, Claudia and Cole and sister of Anthony Fedock and his wife Cindy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Terry Fedock and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Fedock and her sister Mary Gulyas and her husband Raymond and her nephew TJ Fedock. 

Family and friends may call on Monday July 25, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Family request everyone to wear masks in the funeral home. Her funeral will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Joseph Church Ansonia. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Derby.
