John J. Dulina III

John J. Dulina III, age 78 of Naugatuck, beloved husband of the late MaryEllen Walsh Dulina, died peacefully on March 26, 2024 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, surrounded by his family. 

Born in Derby on June 18, 1945, he was the son of the late John J. Dulina, Jr. and Anna Julia Mostowy Dulina. Mr. Dulina was raised in Ansonia and was a 1963 graduate of Seymour High School. He was a graduate of the Connecticut School of Electronics and enjoyed a long and successful career in sales. Mr. Dulina has resided in Naugatuck for the past 10 years, previously of Waterbury and Seymour. 

He was a Communicant and choir member of the Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterbury. Mr. Dulina was a member of the NRA and was skilled in target shooting. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball in the City of Seymour Adult Softball League. Together with his wife of 51 years, they’d enjoy many memorable trips to the casinos. 

He is survived by his devoted children, Cheryl Dulina of Naugatuck, Michelle Dziubina and her husband Chris of Beacon Falls and John J. Dulina, IV of MA; a sister, Barbara Cervero and her husband Robert of FL; and a cherished granddaughter, Emily Sturtevant and her father, Kelly Sturtevant of Naugatuck; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial, Meeting Directly At Church, will be celebrated on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Our Lady of Loreto Church of the Immaculate Conception Parish, 12 Ardsley Rd., Waterbury. Entombment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
