Jonathan M. Bell, age 41, entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2024 at Griffin Hospital.
He was born in Derby on March 3, 1982 son of Barbara Bell Mankewich of Shelton. Jonathan spent his childhood in Derby before moving to Bridgeport for most of his adult life.
Jonathan worked as a tree climber cutting trees for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing, painting, baseball, and watching football and sports. Jonathan also liked motorsports and riding motorcycles.
Besides his mother, he is also survived by one brother, Joseph Flagg, and his wife, Sara of Saint Augustine, Fl, maternal grandmother Patricia Bell of Shelton, one aunt, Donna Sprague of Shelton, two nieces, two nephews, several cousins and his girlfriend of over 16 years, Christine Tracy from Bridgeport.
Jonathan was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Louis Bell, uncle Robert Bell, aunt Brenda Gebuza, and several cousins.
Friends may greet his family on Thursday Feb. 15, 2024 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. His memorial service will being following calling hours at 6 pm in the funeral home.
