Lauren Sette Yagovane

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lauren Sette Yagovane who left us unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on September 7, 1957, to Anthony and Rose Sette and was a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend.

In remembrance of Lauren, we also pay tribute to her late husband, Edward Yagovane and her sister, Mary Ann Sette-Fortin.

Lauren is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Yagovane. She is also survived by her dear mother Rose Sette, devoted sister, Cynthia Sette and brothers, Joseph Sette, John Sette, and Michael Sette, sister-in-law Joyce Yagovane as well as nieces Mia Sette and Amanda Monroe, nephews Anthony and Joseph Sette, and Edward and Theodore Jerolman, great-nieces Taylor & Dallas, and great-nephews Maximus and Jacob and Joseph Sette Jr. and Jaxson.

Despite battling severe health issues throughout most of her adulthood, Lauren lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends. She was known for her strength, warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for those she held dear. Her legacy will forever be imprinted in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Friends may greet the family from 3 PM to 4 PM on Thursday February 8 in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. A memorial service to celebrate Lauren’s life will begin at 4 PM.
