Lok K. Kandel, age 90, of Shelton entered into rest on Thursday March 14, 2024 in St. Mary Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Nepal on Aug. 30, 1933 daughter of the late Laxi Nath Thapaliya and Bisnu Laxmi Thapaliya. She came to America to live with her family 12 years ago.
She is survived by her two sons Kamal and Pramod Kandel and one daughter Minu Kandel, six grandchildren Nissan, Nishu, Prashansha, and Prashanna Kandel, Anubhab and Abashek Aryal, 4 great grandchildren.
The Visitation and Services will be held on Monday from 12 to 2 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd. Shelton. Cremation services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery and Crematory, New Haven.
