Nancy (Tkacz) Savignano

Nancy (Tkacz) Savignano, age 64 of Seymour entered peaceful rest May 19, 2014 at her home; she was the beloved companion to Kenneth Antonacci.

Nancy was born January 26, 1950 in Derby, daughter of the late Morris and Doris (Morgan) Tkacz.

She was employed by St. Vincent Urgent Care Clinic, Fairfield where she was a Clinical Supervisor. Nancy was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church; she had volunteered on various boards for the Town of Seymour, and was a founder of The Dandelions Girls Softball League. Nancy’s passion was her love of nursing; she was also an avid motorcycle rider with her beloved Ken.

In addition to her companion, she leaves her loving family including her children, Morgan D’Amore (David) of Oxford, Jillian Savignano of Seymour, and Frank Savignano, III of Seymour, her brother, Thomas Tkacz and his companion Cindy Kazmarsky of Killingworth, her sister, Debra Mullen (Kevin) of Seymour, her grandchildren, Ella D’Amore, and Frankie Savignano, IV, and several nieces and nephews. Her sister, Maureen Radcliffe predeceased her.

Calling Hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Service of Requiem Eucharist will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Church St., Seymour. Interment will follow in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
