Stephanie Restagno

Stephanie Restagno, 91, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday evening Aug. 3, 2013, at Shelton Lakes Health Care. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Cataldo M. Ki” Restagno.

Mrs. Restagno was born in Ansonia on Dec. 11, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Anne Bialek Korzan. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was devoted to her loving family.

She is survived by a son, Ross Restagno of Oxford, two daughters, Marcia Nelson (Walter) of Derby and Karen Matyjasik (Joel) of Seymour, a brother, Fred Korzan, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, 

Lorraine O’Neill, daughter in law, Karen Restagno, brothers, John, Joseph, Edward, and Eugene Korzan, and sisters, Estelle Hay and Joan Jaskilka.

Friends and relatives may greet the family and pay respects on Thursday August 8, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. 

At 7:30 p.m. a memorial service celebrating the life of Stephanie will take place. Burial will be held in private in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
