Noela S. Novack, 80, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday evening, September 8, 2011, in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Novack.
Mrs. Novack was born in Ansonia on February 17, 1931, daughter of the late Alexander and Emily Biedrzycka Choszczyk. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, Noela enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, playing bingo, and baking.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald H. Novack of Ansonia and William J. Novack (Cherri) of Seymour, two daughters, Noela R. Sabia of Ansonia and Barbara Sultzbach (Charles) of Bethany, a brother, Joseph J. Choszczyk (Helen) of Ansonia, eight cherished grandchildren, Christina Sabia of Ansonia, Joseph and Charles Sultzbach of Bethany, and William, Jennifer, Michael, Veronica, and Mary Novack of Seymour, several nieces and nephews, and her canine buddy JoJo. She was predeceased by a son in law, Anthony Sabia, brothers, Saturmin, Modest, and Thaddeus Choszczyk and sisters, Jean Luciano and Marge Royka.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 9:15am from the SPINELLI–RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church in Ansonia. Interment will follow in Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm.
