I would like to thank the voters in the Third Ward for allowing me to serve as their representative for the next two years.

I am not only excited, but grateful to serve as an Aldermen in Connecticut’s smallest city.

The Third Ward was a very close race between three very capable candidates.

I served with Rich Dzieken on the Board of Apportionment and Taxation before he took a position as an Alderman a year ago.

I enjoyed working with Rich and have much respect for him and his family. I wish him well, and look forward to working with him again in the future.

I want to thank Mayor-elect Anita Dugatto for giving me the opportunity to serve as Alderman in her administration.

I worked with Dr. Anita for over three years on the Board of Apportionment and Taxation and I look forward to working with her again.

I want to thank my wife Kelly, my son, DJ, and my step-daughter, Hope, for all the love and support they have given me over years. I love you with all my heart.

Once again, thank you and look forward to serving the best interests of the City of Derby.

Any questions or concerns I am available 24-7 at home, (203) 732-5835, cell, (203) 530-6529, or by e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

  1. Nice job alderman elect Dave, the city of Derby is lucky to have you. I know you will always do your best. Thanks Ron Sill

  2. Congratulations to David — and likewise, I’m sorry that Rich Dziekan lost the election by two votes, after a job well done for the City of Derby.
