Jose Morales, 48, was sentenced to 65 years in prison Monday for murdering his girlfriend, 43-year-old Christine Holloway, inside her apartment on Myrtle Avenue and tampering with the evidence.

Four members of Holloway’s spoke at the sentencing hearing, with two asking that Morales spend the rest of his life in prison and then rot in hell.

A jury found Morales guilty in April of murdering Holloway in her Myrtle Avenue home in December 2019, then cleaning up the scene.

Vanessa Morales, the then-one-year-old daughter of Holloway and Morales, has been missing since the murder.
