Peter C. Pacitto, III, age 67 of Beacon Falls, beloved husband of Madeleine (Garcia) Pacitto, died peacefully in his home on Monday, July 21, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born in Bennington, VT, on November 6, 1957, he was a son of the late Peter C., II, and Grace (Olin) Pacitto.
Peter was a dedicated employee and friend, working as a truck driver for Haynes Construction Company for 21 years. He loved the outdoors, camping, visiting Kriz Farm (his second family), as well as building the pergola at his home. Family was most important to peter and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Madeleine, survivors include his loving children, Angela Pacitto-Page of Beacon Falls, and Erica Dunn and her husband Tom of Shelton; step-sons, Daniel Rapuano of Naugatuck, and Jordan Gleason of Woodbridge; 3 adored grandchildren, Dylan Page, Evan Dunn and Ella Dunn; siblings, Beth Conti and her husband Dan of Ansonia, Wanda Horenian and her husband Ara of Middlebury, Chris Pacitto and his wife Carol of Bristol, and Terry Pacitto and his wife Julie of Southbury. Peter was predeceased by his brother, John Pacitto; and great-nieces, Jamie Russell and Amy McVay.
The family will be celebrating Peter’s life at the Kriz Family Farm, 13 Bear Hill Rd., Bethany CT, 06524, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11am to 3:30pm.
