OCT. 13, 2025
3:54 a.m. Police received a 911 hang-up call from a residence on Pearl Street, but confirmed it was accidental.
7:50 a.m. A report of a downed wire on Skokorat Street was received by police. Frontier was notified to fix the wire.
9:39 a.m. Police were sent to Manners Avenue for an argument between two people over a parking space.
7:48 p.m. Police responded to a medical emergency on Manners Avenue.
OCT. 14, 2025
11:46 a.m. Police issued a verbal warning to a driver on Great Hill Road.
11:56 a.m. Police were sent to Patrick Drive for a medical emergency for a worker who fell off a ladder while working on a roof.
1:13 p.m. A caller told police a large amount of rocks were dropped off a truck on Derby Avenue causing a hazardous condition in the road.
4;15 p.m. Police charged a 29-year-old Seymour man with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
4:24 p.m. A Dolan Circle resident told police a large, mixed breed dog, about 50-60 pounds, was in his yard and wouldn’t leave. Police called animal control to assist.
8:34 p.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on New Haven Road (Route 67). No injuries were reported.
OCT. 15, 2025
7:39 a.m. Police assisted a driver whose car was disabled at the intersection of North Street and New Haven Road (Route 67).
12:52 p.m. A Bunting Road resident told police she believed she was scammed by a business that did work on her garage doors.
2:40 p.m. Police were called about a cat that was struck by a vehicle on Pearl Street.
3:38 p.m. A resident told police her car was hit in the parking lot of Stop & Shop on Franklin Street.
OCT. 16, 2025
2:46 a.m. Police were sent to Seymour High School for an alarm sounding in the school locker room. Police said it was a false alarm and the building was secure.
10:11 a.m. A Seymour business owner reported that a check he received from a customer bounced when he attempted to cash it.
1:21 p.m. Police issued an infraction to a driver on Bank Street.
1:37 p.m. A Brook Street resident told police she was informed by her accountant that someone used her social security number to file a tax return in her name.
7:36 p.m. Police were called about suspicious activity at French Memorial Park on Spruce Street.
10:07 p.m. Police assisted a driver whose car was disabled on New Haven Road (Route 67).
OCT. 17, 2025
2:36 a.m. Police responded to a report of a tractor trailer that overturned off the guardrail on Route 8 near Exit 18.
7:31 a.m. Police were called about several cars blocking the entrance to the Balance Rock Road apartments.
9 a.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Cogwheel Lane. No injuries were reported.
9:14 a.m. A caller told police a school bus driver was driving erratically on Bank Street and nearly caused a crash. An officer said the school bus was gone upon their arrival.
10:04 a.m. A manager at McDonald’s on Bank Street told police a customer refused to leave the drive-through because he had a problem with his order.
10:17 a.m. Police were called about an incident between a dog and a bat. Animal control was notified.
12:15 p.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Squantuck Road where a vehicle struck a deer.
OCT. 18, 2025
1:05 a.m. Police responded to a medical emergency on Mountain Road for a report of an unresponsive man.
9:40 a.m. Police responded to the scene of a motor accident on Mountain Road.
12:35 p.m. Police issued an infraction to a driver on Bank Street.
4:25 p.m. Police responded to the scene of a two-car motor vehicle accident at Maple Street and Old Ansonia Road. No injuries were reported.
6:02 p.m. A caller told police there was a large amount of garbage dumped in the middle of the road on Roosevelt Drive. An officer said there was no debris found.
OCT. 19, 2025
12:17 a.m. Police issued a misdemeanor to a driver on West Street.
2:08 a.m. A Mountain Road resident told police he believed someone was inside his residence. Police said the house was clear.
2:12 a.m. A Jupiter Driver resident said his neighbor was playing loud music. Police advised the neighbor to turn the music down.
10:35 a.m. Police charged an 18-year-old Oxford woman with illegally operating a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to display lights.
11:25 a.m. A delivery driver told police he was bitten by a dog on Patrick Drive.
4:10 p.m. Police issued an infraction to a driver on Mountain Road.
4:36 p.m. Someone found a key fob at French Memorial Park and turned it in to the police.
OCT. 20, 2025
12:58 a.m. Police issued a verbal warning to a driver near the Route 8 south ramp.
8:12 a.m. A caller told police a red pick-up truck had gone over an embankment on Fountain Lake Road. Police said the truck was gone upon their arrival.
8:14 a.m. Police were called about a downed cable wire on Legion Road. Frontier was notified to repair the wire.
