Ansonia police received 289 calls for service and made 14 arrests between Oct. 27, 2025 and Nov. 2, 2025.

Monday, Oct. 27, 2025

11:18 a.m. Police were called for a medical assist on Jackson Street.

1:30 p.m. A caller reported hazardous road conditions on William Street.

3:40 p.m. A caller reported a theft from a motor vehicle on West Main Street.

5:03 p.m. Police charged a 32-year-old woman with possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

6:47 p.m. Police charged a 26-year-old Ansonia man on Fourth Street with third degree assault, two counts of disorderly conduct, and two counts of risk of injury to a child.

Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025

5:56 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Wakelee Avenue.

7:08 a.m. Police were alerted that an alarm went off at the Ansonia Nature Center.

10:09 a.m. Police charged a 34-year-old Naugatuck man with second-degree assault.

9:05 p.m. Police were called in connection to a juvenile matter on Franklin Street.

11:35 p.m. Police charged a 21-year-old Meriden man with first-degree riot, first-degree conspiracy to commit riot, racing, and second-degree breach of peace. It is the fifth arrest in connection to an April ‘street takeover’ on Wakelee Avenue.

6:20 a.m. Officers carried out search warrants on Wesley Street.

9:05 a.m. Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Finney Street.

2:47 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Myrtle Avenue.

4:07 p.m. Following an investigation into a fatal crash on Pershing Drive, police charged a 26-year-old Ansonia man with first-degree reckless endangerment and reckless driving.

6:15 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Main Street.

Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025

6:16 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Wakelee Avenue.

1:03 p.m. Police received a ‘lost and found’ call.

4:15 p.m. Police were called regarding a possible weapon law violation.

5:56 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near Bridge Street and East Main Street.

7:35 p.m. Police were alerted to an abandoned motor vehicle on Sunset Drive.

Friday, Oct. 31, 2025

1:03 a.m. Police charged a 52-year-old woman from Monroe, N.Y., with first-degree trespassing and disorderly conduct.

10:10 a.m. A caller on West Main Street dialed 911 but hung up.

3:20 p.m. Police received a report of vandalism on Prospect Street.

4:26 p.m. While responding to a motor vehicle accident on Maple Street, police charged a 20-year-old man with evading responsibility and failure to drive in the proper lane.

10:20 p.m. Police charged a 51-year-old West Haven man with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct on Maple Street.

Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025

2:06 a.m. Police charged two West Haven men, aged 26 and 25, with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

3:25 p.m. Police received a report of possible credit card fraud on Main Street.

6:59 p.m. A caller reported theft on Wakelee Avenue.

8:58 p.m. Police charged a 34-year-old Waterbury man on Holbrook Street with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025

6:41 a.m. Police received a report of illegal parking on Tremont Street.

12:33 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Wakelee Avenue.

2:10 p.m. Police were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on York Street.

2:13 p.m. Police were called for a medical assist, in connection to an apparent overdose on Father Salemi Drive.

4:47 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Central Street.
