Christopher T. Savino, age 71, entered eternal rest on October 29, 2025, at Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour. He was the beloved husband of Susan K. (Falcha) Savino.
Born in Stamford on October 23, 1954, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Murphy) Savino. Chris was a graduate of Ansonia High School class of 1973 and a lifelong resident of Ansonia. He was employed as a tool and die maker for Teledyne in Ansonia then later at Winchester Repeating Arms Company in New Haven and retired from Schick Razor in Milford. Chris was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council 10537. He was also a huge Ansonia High School football fan and loved cheering on his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees.
In addition to his wife Susan, Chris leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Christina Picheco (David) of Ansonia and Carrie Savino-Messenger (Jim) of South Carolina. brothers, John ‘Skip” Savino of FL, Michael Savino (Becky) of CA, Peter Savino of Seymour and David Savino of FL, sister, Patricia Nivakoff of Fairfield, grandchildren, Cameron Hunt, Ava Richter, Kayla Picheco and Jesse Savino along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Jason M. Savino and his beloved dog, Smokey.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday November 3, 2025, from 9:00-10:30 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am a funeral service in celebration of Chris’s life will take place in the funeral home with Reverend Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
