Lucien F. Bernier, age 89, a longtime Seymour resident, he entered peaceful rest on November 11, 2025; he was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Burt) Bernier. Mr. Bernier was born June 10, 1936 in Waterbury, son of the late Napoleon and Laura (Bolduc) Bernier. Lucien was a former Waterbury resident, and a retired Tool and Die Maker having retired from Ideal Manufacturing, Beacon Falls.
Lucien was a US Army veteran serving during peacetime. In his retirement Lucien enjoyed travel with his wife Evelyn, and especially liked spending time in Florida. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Bernier leaves his loving family including his daughter Lynn Patafio and her husband John of Beacon Falls; his cherished grandchildren, Jessica Walsh, Daniel Walsh, and Michelle Bernier; he also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 Am at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of Lucien’s life will immediately follow at 10:00 AM. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
