Cynthia L. (Kozak) Ryall age 68, a lifelong resident of Ansonia, entered eternal rest on November 12, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the loving wife of forty-seven years to William H. Ryall.
Born in Derby on May 14, 1957, she was the daughter of Genevieve “Jane” (D’Alessio) Kozak of Ansonia and the late George Kozak. Cindy graduated from Assumption Grammar School in Ansonia and Ansonia High School, class of 1975. A beloved mother and devoted wife, Cindy cherished her time at home, taking care of her family before embarking on a fulfilling career. Cindy began her career with Valley Ambulance in Shelton, then earned her Life and Health Insurance license and joined Healthnet. Throughout her tenure at Healthnet, Cindy excelled in her roles, ultimately promoted to the Northeast Director of Sales and Marketing. Her commitment and passion for her work were evident and in 2010 she was nationally honored as Healthnet’s Executive of the Year. After leaving Healthnet, she co‑founded Medicare Assurance, a company she co-led until her retirement in 2023.
Cindy was an active volunteer at Make-A-Wish Foundation in Trumbull and lovingly supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In her free time, she loved the beach and traveling. She looked forward to Caribbean vacations, and trips to Hilton Head, SC with her family. She shared wonderful memories visiting Narragansett annually with her “Ya‑Yas.” She also enjoyed relaxing by the pool beneath a palm tree her husband planted especially for her. A devoted wife and mother, Cindy cherished her family above all else. Her greatest joy was spending time with her precious grandchildren. She will lovingly be missed by all.
In addition to her husband Bill, and mother Jane, Cindy leaves to cherish her memory, sons, William H. Ryall III (Alicyn) and Christopher G. Ryall (Amanda) all of Shelton, sister, Mary Jane Boladz (Henry) of Ansonia, grandchildren, Parker William Ryall, Hannah Ryall, and Genevieve Ryall along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
