Alma C. Trabka, age 92, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert F. Trabka, Sr.
Alma was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on January 30, 1933 daughter of the late Stanley and Stephanie (Hamuka) Tomaszewski and was a Shelton resident for most of her life. She started her career as a secretary at Mohegan School before going to Shelton HIgh School where she worked until her retirement. Alma loved playing the lotto and enjoyed arts and crafts. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
She was the beloved mother of Christine Hawker and her husband Robert, Linda Gardiner and her husband Daniel, Robert Trabka, Jr. and his wife Karen and Susan Stamos and her husband Gregory and loving grandmother of Justin Hawker, Stephanie Trabka, Nicholas Trabka, Alexis Stamos and Angelika Cody. Alma was also survived by 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Sigillo and two brothers, Joseph and Stanley Tomaszewski.
Her funeral services are private.
