SHELTON — Celebrate Shelton is pleased to invite the community to its Annual Community Tree Lighting & Holiday Market on Thursday, December 5th from 5:00–9:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Park in Shelton. This festive evening brings families, neighbors, and local businesses together to usher in the magic of the holiday season.

Throughout the evening, guests can shop local from a curated selection of artisan vendor, enjoy ornament making with The Giggling Pig, holiday performances from Center Stage Theater, The Frozen Sisters meet and greet and show, indulge in free hot cocoa and cookies, warm up by the community bonfires and share a special visit with Santa & Mr. Claus. The holiday spirit will fill the air  community gathers to celebrate.

This year’s event features a full lineup of entertainment:

  • 5:00–9:00 PM: Shop Local Holiday Market & Ornament Making
  • 6:00 PM: The Frozen Sisters Performance
  • 6:30 PM: Speaking Program & Official Tree Lighting
  • 6:30–7:15 PM: Meet & Greet with The Frozen Sisters
  • 7:00 PM: Center Stage Theater Holiday Performance 
  • 7:15 PM: Arrival of Santa & Mrs. Claus
