Eleanor S. Parrott, age 86, entered eternal rest on January 25, 2026, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.

Born in Waterbury on October 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Zinkus) Consavage. Eleanor was raised in Seymour then moved to Ansonia where she resided for most of her life. She was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her home and family. Her heart was most full when she was taking care of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eleanor was one of the best bargain shoppers around and enjoyed finding little treasures in thrift shops. Her favorite hobby was playing bingo locally at Assumption and Saint Peter and Saint Paul Churches in Ansonia.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memory, son, Ronald P. Parrott Jr. of West Haven, daughter, Debra A. Parrott of Derby, grandchildren, Jennifer Carmon of New Haven, Stephanie Carmon of Derby, Jeffrey Carmon of Derby, and Jonathan Carmon of Derby, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward R. Consavage and sisters, Dorothy Cisto, Ruth Tinti, Ann Marie LaPierre, Lillian Weaver and Barbara DeGoursey.
