Gladys (Miller) Warner, age 95 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Russell Warner, entered peaceful rest on Monday, January 26, 2026 in her home surrounded by family. Born in Ansonia on September 6, 1930, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Wilkenson) Miller.

A retired Registered Nurse at Griffin Hospital, and later Laurel Heights, Gladys was a caring person who also had a deep faith and was a devout parishioner at Trinity Church in Seymour. She loved game shows and could never be taken away from the T.V. during episodes of Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune, or especially watching the UCONN Women’s Basketball team. Gladys also enjoyed going to the casino (without Russell knowing), and had a special love for Ireland, which she visited on a few occasions.

Survivors include her loving son, Wayne Warner of Seymour, as well as four cherished grandchildren. In addition to her late parents and husband, Gladys was predeceased by her beloved son, Dean Warner.

Interment will be held on a date and time to be determined directly in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gladys’s name can be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
