THE VALLEY – Rotary clubs throughout the Valley are seeking volunteers to help pack meal boxes to go to the region’s food pantries.
The volunteer opportunity is from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 14, at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Seymour (91 W. Church St). You can register as a volunteer at this link.
The event is sponsored by the rotary clubs of Ansonia-Seymour-Oxford, Derby-Shelton, Naugatuck, Woodbury-Southbury-Middlebury, Waterbury, and District 9780.
The event’s goal is to distribute a total of 161 boxes of food to 19 food pantries throughout the region.
