Florence Cronin, 93, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Cronin, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Florence was born August 5, 1932, in Ansonia. She was the daughter of the late George & Dorothy Talemal. Florence was a devout communicant of St Augustine’s church. Florence had worked for Southern New England Telephone and Farrel Corp. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She was a fan of UConn Women’s basketball. She was also a member of St Augustine’s choir.

Florence leaves behind her loving children. Her daughter Barbara (Ray) Delaney of Bristol, Ct, her 3 sons William (Janeese) of North Richland Hills, Tx, James (Roisin), of Naugatuck, Ct, and Michael (Susan) of Ansonia, Ct. She also leaves her loving Grandchildren, Tim (Lisa), Chris (Holly), Sean (Jess), Delaney, John (Sybil), Cronin, Misty (David) Moore, Amanda (Mark) Cronin, Tiffany (Phil) Cronin, Justin &Jamie Cronin. Also, her loving Great Grandchildren, Ben, Ryan, Lilliana, Noah, Ellie, Artemis, Nolan, Emily, Mason, James, Paige, Eric (Hannah), Mark, Gianna, Jackson and Jacob. Florence was predeceased by her brothers Henry Talemal and Robert Talemal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00 am (Directly) at St Augustine’s Church, 35 Washington Ave, Seymour, Ct. Inurnment will be held privately by the family at St Augustine’s Cemetery, Seymour. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Florence’s memory may be made to St. Augustine Church-St. Nicholas Parish or Autism Research, through the funeral home.
