DERBY — The community is invited to come together for a meaningful and spirited weekend at the 15th Annual PINk Softball and Baseball Games, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for individuals receiving treatment at the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, April 17th at 5:30 PM, with a baseball matchup between Derby and Ansonia. The excitement continues on Saturday with two softball games: Derby vs. Ansonia at 11:00 AM, followed by Stratford vs. Bunnell at 2:00 PM.
This annual event has become a cherished tradition, uniting athletes, families, and supporters in the fight against breast cancer. Attendees can look forward to more than just great games, over 65 raffle prizes will be available, including standout items such as a gift basket with a $100 gift card to Dew Drop Inn and an overnight stay at Foxwoods.
Food and festivities will be in full swing throughout the weekend. Guests can enjoy crowd favorites like walking tacos, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks, all while upbeat music keeps the energy high.
Most importantly, the event is an opportunity to celebrate survivors, honor those currently battling, and remember loved ones. Every dollar raised goes toward supporting patients and services at the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness.
Organizers encourage the entire community to attend, show their support, and help reach this year’s fundraising goal.
Join us for a weekend of sports, community, and purpose — together, we can make a difference.
