5:01 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Franklin Street.
7:38 a.m. Police were alerted to hazardous road conditions on North State Street.
11:43 a.m. An officer responded to a juvenile matter at the high school.
11:51 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle avenue near Myrtle Avenue and Orchard Street.
12:09 p.m. Police received a report from Howard Avenue of a stolen license plate.
5:47 p.m. Police charged a 33-year-old Ansonia man with driving under suspension, failure to drive on the right, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest on Clark Street.

12:11 a.m. Police were sent to the mini mart on North Main Street after a caller reported being threatened.
6:02 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Pershing Drive.
10 a.m. Police charged a 38-year-old Ansonia woman with violating a protective order, third-degree assault, and disorderly conduct on Jackson Street.
10:37 a.m. Officers were dispatched to North Prospect Street for a report of a possible weapon law violation.
2:35 p.m. During a traffic stop, police charged a 45-year-old Shelton man with possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension on East Main Street.
3:38 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rockwood Avenue.
6:57 p.m. Police received a report from Winter Street of a stolen motor vehicle.

5:31 p.m. Police charged a 29-year-old Ansonia woman with risk of injury to a child on Main Street.
6:56 p.m. Police charged a 40-year-old Ansonia woman with disorderly conduct on North Main Street.

1:14 a.m. Police charged Angelica Burgos, 19, of New Haven, with driving under the influence, driving without a license, and failure to display lights on Main Street. A court date is set for May 7.
7:18 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near Bridge Street and Pershing Drive.
10:20 a.m. Police carried out a search warrant on Division Street.
11:11 a.m. Police responded to a report of an emotionally distressed person on Woodlawn Avenue.
5:38 p.m. Acting on a search warrant, police confiscated 41 animals from a home on Schumacher Drive. The house was condemned, and two adult women and three juveniles were removed from the home.

2:43 p.m. Police received a report of illegal parking on Beaver Street.
11:39 p.m. Police charged Juan Ruiz Garces, 41, of Ansonia, with driving under the influence and failure to obey traffic signals during a traffic stop near Kingston Drive and Main Street. A court date is set for May 8.

12:51 p.m. Police received a wildlife complaint from Beaver Street.
4:26 p.m. A caller dialed 911 from Holbrook Street but hung up.
5:09 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near Target on West Main Street.

12:05 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Holbrook Place.
1:53 a.m. Police charged a 25-year-old West Haven woman with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct on North Fourth Street.
6:36 a.m. Fire police were requested on Main Street.
5:52 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near Danielczyk Drive and Jewett Street.
9:03 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Grove and Meadow streets.
10:53 p.m. Police arrested four Ansonia women – ages 43, 24, 22, and 20 – on Schumacher Drive. The 22-year-old woman was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. The other three women were all charged with first-degree trespassing and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. The Valley Indy has called the police department to learn more about the arrests.
