Ansonia police received 321 calls for service and made 13 arrests.
Monday, April 27, 2026
7:27 a.m. Officers were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Pershing Drive. Shortly after, police charged a 36-year-old Ansonia man on Vine Street with evading responsibility in an accident, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and driving without minimum insurance.
7:45 a.m. Police charged Patrick Kiley, 21, of Farmingville, N.Y., with larceny of a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle on Main Street.
10:54 a.m. Officers responded to a juvenile matter on Beaver Street.
3:26 p.m. Police charged a 43-year-old woman with disorderly conduct on Walkers Court.
3:48 p.m. Police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from Pershing Drive.

12:29 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Elm Street and Platt Street.
10:50 a.m. Police charged a 34-year-old Vernon man with sixth-degree larceny, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, improper passing, and driving under suspension.
3:08 p.m. Police received a report of vandalism from Pulaski Highway.
3:53 p.m. Police charged an 18-year-old Shelton woman with criminal impersonation. The charges were processed at the police station on Main Street.
3:56 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Father Lar Drive.
11:21 p.m. Police charged three women, ages 43, 24, and 20, with first-degree trespassing on Schumacher Drive. The same women were previously arrested and given similar charges on Sunday, April 26.

8:56 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Beaver Street.
10:12 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pershing Drive.
10:27 a.m. Police carried out a search warrant at an undisclosed location.
11:07 a.m. Police responded to a medical emergency on May Street.
7:54 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Tremont Street.

6:03 a.m. Police received a report of illegal parking on Hodge Avenue.
10:39 a.m. Police received a wildlife complaint from May Street.
12:02 p.m. Police charged Mizraim Vega-Figueroa, 36, and Abirraim Vega, 33, both of Bridgeport, with third-degree burglary, first-degree trespassing, and possession of burglar tools on Liberty Street. Vega-Figeuroa was also charged with driving without insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle, and improper use of a license plate.
12:46 p.m. Police deployed a drone near Liberty Street.
10:23 p.m. Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle on Wakelee Drive.

1:47 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Pershing Drive.
10:04 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hodge Avenue.
1:35 p.m. Police received a report of a stolen license plate from North Spring Street.
3:06 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Wakelee Avenue.
6:43 p.m. Police charged a 48-year-old man with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Walkers Court.

12:54 a.m. Officers were dispatched for a report of vandalism on Myrtle Avenue.
2:43 a.m. Police notified the fire department of a house fire on Clark Street. Multiple occupants were transported to Griffin Hospital to get checked out for smoke inhalation.
8:39 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Bridge Street and Pershing Drive.
1:40 p.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Wakelee Avenue.
2 p.m. Police charged a 29-year-old woman with failure to appear in court on West Main Street.
2:26 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on North Main Street.
5:01 p.m. Police received a wildlife complaint from Seventh Street.

3:07 a.m. Police received a report of illegal parking on Wakelee Avenue.
11:45 a.m. Police charged a 42-year-old Bridgeport man with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury to a child.
3:07 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Byron Avenue.
5:33 p.m. Police received a report of disorderly conduct on North Main Street.
6:56 p.m. Police and other first responders were notified of a possible fire on Finney Street. Responding firefighters said it was a non-threatening brush fire and extinguished it.
