Macedonia Baptist Church To Hold Food Drive, Will Benefit Samela Food Bank

ANSONIA — Macedonia Baptist Church of Ansonia invites th community to come together in support of neighbors in need at a special food drive on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event will benefit the Kathleen C.B. Samela Memorial Food Bank, helping to provide essential nourishment to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Community members are encouraged to donate dry goods and unexpired canned items. Monetary donations will also be gratefully accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at Macedonia Baptist Church, 243 Pershing Drive,
during the event hours. All are welcome to participate and support this important cause.
