Peter Balko, III, age 62 a lifelong resident of Seymour, he entered into peaceful rest on May 10, 2026.
Peter was born in Derby, son of the late Peter, Jr., and Arlene (Markut) Balko. Peter was a Master Mechanic having worked in the family’s service station in Seymour for many years until his retirement. He was a graduate of Emmett O’Brien Regional Vocational Technical School in Ansonia.
Peter enjoyed boating on the Housatonic River and socializing with his friends at The Russian Club. He also took trips to upstate NY to attend The Poconos Vance Scores Diamond Mine NASCAR.
Peter leaves behind his loving family including his sisters, Kim Lewis and her husband Steven of Beacon Falls, and Karen Balko of Milford, also his brother Paul Balko of Seymour; he also leaves his niece Heidi( Roberto) Natalino of Prospect, nephew Ryan (Jess) Lewis of London, UK, great niece Giana Natalino and great nephew Michael Natalino of Prospect. An uncle, Robert Markut of Rotunda West, FL. In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his brother and business partner Michael Balko.
