Robert A. Reggiani, an 87 year old former Bethany resident, died June 22. He was the husband of Susan Fosdick Morrell Reggiani. Bob was born in Ansonia on Nov. 22, 1938, son of the late Allen and Mary (Ventre) Reggiani. After graduating from Ansonia High School in 1956, he and graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the early 1960’s. (Active 1961-1963) Reserves 1963-1967) 

Upon his discharge he worked for The Anaconda American Brass Company in Waterbury, in various managerial administrative positions. During this time, he received a Master’s Degree from the University of New Haven in their first executive MBA program. After Atlantic Richfield assumed ownership of Anaconda and relocated it’s corporate offices to Illinois, Bob left and worked in various other managerial capacities for several other companies in the area, E.W.R. in Waterbury, Statewide Environmental Services in Hamden, Handy & Harman of Fairfield, and A/1 Bethany/Naugatuck Self Storage in Naugatuck. He was a member of King Hiram Lodge #12 A.F.& A.M. in Shelton, Waterbury Elks Lode #265, the AARP, the N.R.A. and the American Legion. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards at The Elks, shooting at The Ansonia Rod & Gun Club, as well as hunting, and fishing in VT., VA. And in CT. with a great bunch of people.

Bob is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Stephanie Laubner and her husband Peter of Topsfield, Mass., son Steven of Bethany, and his beloved grandchildren, Owen Tess and Nate Laubner of Topsfield, Mass. In addition he leaves his sister Barbara (Reggiani) Plude and her husband Bud of Oxford, his niece Laurie Goncalo, nephew Scott Plude, grand niece Beeca Goncalo, special cousin Sandra Malard of Pa., and several other relatives in the state of Connecticut. In accordance with his wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 1st at Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then begin at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with arrangements.
