Susan Brandon, age 94 a lifelong Seymour resident, she entered into peaceful rest on August 5, 2026. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to the late Daniel R. Brandon. Susan was born April 12, 1932, daughter of the late Raymond and Jenny (Forsyth) Diller. She was a retired Legal Secretary, and a communicant of St. Nicholas Parish-Church of the Good Shepherd.
Susan was an avid UCONN Huskies Women’s Basketball fan. She enjoyed Bird watching at her bird feeder; she also enjoyed flower gardening, travel especially trips to Maine and the light houses there. She will be most fondly remembered for her love of her family and grandchildren.
Susan leaves her loving family including her Daughter, Alisa Piech (Martin) of Meriden; her sons, Paul Brandon (Terry) of Oxford, and Mark Brandon of Seymour; her grandchildren, Michael, Danielle, Peter, Jacqueline, and Daniel; her great granddaughter Maeve, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ray and Al Diller.
Calling Hours will be Thursday August 20th from 5 to 7 PM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Graveside Service will be held Friday August 21st at 11:00 AM at Mountain Meadows Cemetery 117 Mountain Rd. Seymour. In lieu of flowers Memorial Gifts may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul, P.O.
