ANSONIA – Macedonia Baptist Church, through its Hunger Awareness Ministry, will host a Community Food Drive on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church, located at 243 Pershing Drive, Ansonia, CT.
The food drive is part of the church’s ongoing commitment to serving local families and addressing food insecurity in the Naugatuck Valley. All donations will benefit the Kathleen C.B. Samela Memorial Food Bank in Ansonia, CT.
ITEMS NEEDED:
Non-perishable dry goods and unexpired canned goods, including:
• Canned vegetables and fruits
• Cereal
• Tuna and canned meats
• Soups and stews
• Peanut butter
• Baby food and formula
• Pasta, rice, and beans
• Shelf-stable milk
• Personal care items
MONETARY DONATIONS:
Monetary donations are gratefully accepted to help the Food Bank purchase essential items. Donations can be made securely on-site or via the church website.
Community members, families, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to join us in making this food drive a success.
