Jaime B. Crespo, age 77, entered into rest on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is the beloved husband of 54 years of Gloria (Delfin) Crespo. Jaime was born in Pariaguan, Venezuela, on July 4, 1948, son of the late Benjamin and Nimia (Hernandez) Crespo. He lived in Venezuela for most of his life, coming to Florida 13 years ago and then to Connecticut in 2020.

He worked as a hospital administrator in Venezuela before his retirement and move to the US. Jaime’s passion was music, entirely self-taught, and he could pick up and play virtually any instrument. His family was the center of his life, and he was an amazing grandfather.

He is the beloved father of Jaime Crespo (Adriana), Glorimerc Crespo Rumore (Tony), Juan Crespo (Carolina), and Glorianni Serra (Nick), the proud grandfather of Daniel, Katherine, Camila, Nicole, Sofia, Massimo, Nicolas, Sabrina, Cesar, Mia, and Dominic, and great-grandfather of Angelina. He is also survived by a brother, Neil Crespo, two sisters, Onelia Crespo and Ilirie Saade, and several nieces and nephews. Jaime was predeceased by two siblings, Jenner and Georgina Crespo.

Friends are invited to greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 PM.

A second memorial will be held in South Florida during the month of July, details will be provided soon.
