Leo Joseph Beaudry, age 94, of Shelton, entered into rest on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He is the beloved husband of 72 years to Louise (Scalzi) Beaudry. Leo was born in Rumford, Maine on May 3, 1932, son of the late Eugene and Mildred (Pacquette) Beaudry, and lived for many years in Bridgeport before moving to Shelton fifteen years ago.

He proudly served his country in the US Army, and had a long career as a Tractor Trailer Driver, retiring from Pace Motor Lines. Leo was a devoted RedSox fan, and a member of the Sutter-Terlizzi American Legion Post 16 in Shelton. He enjoyed doing puzzles, and loved being in the company of his cherished family.

He is the beloved father of Jo-Ann Sollenne and her husband Dino, and Diane O’Neil and her husband Daniel. He is the proud grandfather of Laurie, Paul, Shannon, Karyn, Katlyn, Amanda, Ashley, and Dino Jr., great-grandfather of Kayla, Evan, Mason, Briella, and Graziella, and great-great-grandfather to Amari. Leo is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Anderson, and eleven siblings.

Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday from 4 to 6 PM. On Saturday, guests may join the family for a Mass Christian Burial at 10 AM, directly at St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton.

Burial, with full military honors, will be private.
