Judith Lovett, an 82‑year‑old resident of Crosby Commons in Shelton, passed away on August 7, leaving behind her two children and a lifetime of caring and support of others.
She was born March 27, 1944 in Derby, daughter of the late Rowena and Andrew Warecke. Judith was a long time banker for several Valley area banks and later found her passion in caring for others by becoming a nursing assistant for the VNA.
She was a member of The Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia, where she was also an active volunteer for the church food bank for many years.
She leaves her son Brian Lovett and his wife Julie of Milford, and her daughter Dawn Ames and her husband Roger of Panama.
She was predeceased by her former husband Donald Lovett. Friends may call on Tuesday, Aug. 11th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mom would have appreciated you making a donation to your local food bank.
