The members of the Websters along with Ansonia Police, Ansonia Rescue Medical Services, Mayor Frank Tyszka and other dignitaries began ringing the bell continuously at 8:46 a.m., the time the first plane struck the North Tower, until 9:03 a.m., when the second plane struck the South Tower.

About 50 people attended the ceremony, where “Taps” was played in remembrance of those who lost their lives.
