SHELTON — The Plumb Memorial Library will be displaying the works of artist Theresa Kasun from 10/5/26-12/31/26. The Plumb Memorial Library is located at 65 Wooster Street in Shelton.
Theresa is a classically trained figurative artist, in the techniques and philosophies of Impressionism. She paints a wide range of subject matter from still lifes and portraits to en plain air painting. She also paints original holiday designs on windows of small businesses throughout the NYC area. She works mostly in oil on canvas, along with watercolors and acrylics. She gets her inspiration from the beauty of nature outside as well as from man made things like a simple dessert. Her works include donuts and cakes as well as Citi Field baseball stadium, and she has also been a wedding sketch artist. There is something so profound about capturing a moment in time, which is reflected in her works.
Theresa’s artwork will be on display in the lower level Meeting Room as well as the Gallery upstairs during open hours. There will be a reception for Theresa on Saturday October 10th from 12-2 in the lower level Meeting Room. Come on in and view her beautiful art and meet her in person!
