Five Guys Burger And Fries Looking At Shelton

Five Guys Burger and Fries, a popular fast food joint, wants to open somewhere on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton.

A lease has not been signed and the restaurant is also looking in Stratford, so it is much too early to give details, according to Nick Marona.

Is Shelton a front-runner for a new Five Guys?

You could say that,” said Marona. That’s really as far as I can go because we are not committed to a location yet. We are actively in negotiations with a site in Shelton.”

It’s not known when Five Guys will ink a deal.

There are Five Guys restaurants in Brookfield, Fairfield, Newtown, Norwalk and Westport.

The first Five Guys opened in Arlington, Va. in 1986. There are more than 900 locations today.
